The way I used to do things on the guitar was too technical, I wanted to become a better guitar player, I needed a way to practice that was very simple and effective. This is where the Stagemaster 1000, it made me a good guitar player, and it still does. What is it? It is a special kind of drum, and I consider it more like an instrument of percussion or toy. The way it works is that you press and release a button on the top of the controller, and the application translates that into different drum beats on the Stagemaster 1000. This application was designed to do only one thing, to translate the buttons of the Stagemaster 1000 into a MIDI file, so that you can play the MIDI file on any drumming software, or any other application for that matter. The only limitation of this application is that you have to have the Stagemaster 1000 and the drumming software or application on your computer. This application was written in java using the TKComponents library. It is pure java and cross platform, it runs on Mac and Windows.
